The Celestial Library

The Celestial Library was a personal project that consisted of designing a fraction of the space in which a character resides. This project was inspired by Greco-Roman architecture and the Library of Admont Abbey in Austria. Box Modeling in Maya was used for its creation, and Substance Painter was used for its texturing.MASH was used as a construction resource, as well as translucent materials for experimentation with stained glass and atmospheric volume.

Camino Félido

Camino Félido

Camino Félido was the final degree project I participated in. For this short film, I was responsible for the 3D rigging of the main character and the lighting, which was done in Arnold Maya. Here are the short film, rigging, and some of the shots with their respective lighting (Raw lighting in Arnold Maya, I didn´t do the post producction .You can find the concept art for the film in the 2D Portafolio.

Mani - Rig Showcase Walkcycle

Mani - Rig - Walkcycle Showcase (I made just the Rig, I didn´t animate the walkcycle!)

Brisa Stella - Figurine

This sculpture was one of my first works using Zbrush. Over time, I decided to improve its lighting and material treatment, achieving a result that reminds me of my evolution in 3D. Although my modeling skills have improved, it still remains unchanged after the changes. It was sculpted in Zbrush, retopologized in Maya, posed and painted in Zbrush with some retouching in Substance Painter. The rendering was done in Arnold Maya.

Brisa - Turn Table

Sin Higan - Expressions 01

Sin Higan

This model was created with the idea of practicing facial rigging, as well as experimenting with toon shaders and hair physics. It was sculpted in Zbrush, retopologized and rigged in Maya, painted in Zbrush, animated in Maya, and in Arnold Maya.

Spotted Bunny - A Pose

Spotted Bunny

This model and character were created for a body rigging exercise. It was decided to make a model with a simple anatomy that would be easy to paint weights on, but complex enough to be an interesting rig.The model was created in Zbrush, the retopology and rig in Arnold Maya, the texture painting in Zbrush, and the animation in Maya.
